Each December, DGC International joins others on National Wreaths Across America Day, in the mission to remember the actions of our heroes. The event is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 2,000 cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.

For the last five years, the DGC International team has been led by Ian Galloway, Vice President of Corporate Development, to sponsor the Memorial Day Flowers event at the Arlington National Cemetery. Volunteers from the DGC International headquarters office support the initiative at the Arlington National Cemetery over Memorial Day Weekend.

Volunteers hand out fresh-cut flowers to those who come to pay their respects at the cemeteries. The Memorial Day Flowers Foundation works with local organizers and volunteers to place roses on gravesites at National, Veterans, and Local cemeteries across the United States to hand out more than 150,000 flowers.

“We are humbled by those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom,” Ian Galloway, Vice President of Corporate Development, said.
