DGC International is a trusted provider of Global Defense solutions to the United States Government and its partners worldwide. We specialize in logistics, global operations, and mission support products and services. Our one global team makes a difference throughout the world, delivering innovative solutions to make the world a better place.
In support of the US Embassy and the DOD’s Naval Medical Research Unit in Lima, Peru, DGC International procured, stored, and delivered fuel under a Defense Logistics Agency – Energy contract. From 2013 to 2015, DCG International provided transportation, vehicle maintenance, and fuel supply operations – using our strong supply chain and network of customs agents across Peru to facilitate the movement of fuel from the refinery to the Naval Station. Throughout this effort, DGC International focused intently on end user satisfaction and strove to continuously improve services.
Under this five year contract, DGCI provided foreign language services and an innovative management services solution to the U.S. Army and other U.S. Government agencies. DGCI provided linguists for several critical languages including Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Farsi and Arabic.
DGCI supported ground radar equipment, systems, subsystems, and items that support detection and monitoring activities. We delivered, installed and maintained knowledge-based systems in a multi-domain awareness (MDA) environment.
In this critical service area, DGCI strives to improve asset reliability and operational controls with the goal of delivering safer energy, increasing uptime, and continuously enhancing productivity. Due to our extensive service network around the world, DGCI can provide expert field service support, maintenance, repairs, lubricants, and replacement units. Additionally, we can modernize and upgrade power components – including those for gas turbines and generators – at military installations or forward operating bases. DGCI also has extensive experience with monitoring and diagnostics. Our team implements compliance and risk management practices for each customer. We manage portfolios within federal and/or local regulatory statutes and continuously analyze those portfolios for risks that could adversely impact operational and regulatory compliance.
DGCI can provide a wide range of high-quality military and commercial grade fuels. These include JP8/F34, TS1, JP5/F44, F76, DF2/F54, AVGAS/F18, Jet A1/F35, Jet A, and JP4/F40. We also have a deploy-able fuel additive injection capability to ensure client specifications can be met wherever and whenever needed.
On a multi-year contract, known as National Afghanistan Trucking 2, DGCI provided mission-critical transportation and asset management support for bulk fuels, dry cargo, and heavy cargo assets across Afghanistan. DGCI provided all management, personnel, supervision, supplies, equipment, and organic transportation required to make FOB deliveries. From our central point of operation, DGCI directed the consolidation and flow of equipment, cost effectively configured all computer systems, prepared equipment for the harsh operating environment, installed air filters to prevent dust contamination, trained support personnel, and shipped equipment. The transportation assets used included flatbed trucks, reefer trucks, lowboys, cranes, container stackers, and forklifts. To manage subcontractors, DGCI used AES-256 encrypted cloud computing architecture that worked on a point-to-point system and met the requirements of NIST Special Publication 800-146 Cloud Computing Synopsis and SANS Top 20 Critical Controls. Furthermore, we developed a highly effective system to ensure end-to-end mobilization and deployment tracking as personnel were transferred throughout the Afghanistan AOR.
