Washington DC — March 25, 2017 – DGC International was recently awarded a contract to deliver fuels in Iraq with the Defense Logistics Agency-Energy (DLA-E).
DGC International is pleased to support the DLA-E and the warfighter in Iraq. DGC International has a long history of operating in Iraq, and is one of the few fuel providers with strong relationships in the region, particularly in the Northern Iraqi region of Kurdistan.

DGC International is audited by BSI Group (also known in the United Kingdom market as the British Standards Institution), an official accreditation body for ISO 9001 standards. BSI Group is the world’s largest certification body. BSI certifies approximately 60,000 locations in over 124 countries and operates across the UK, CEMEA, Asia Pacific (including Japan and China) and the Americas.

Globally recognized and respected, ISO 9001:2015 standards are set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an independent, non-governmental membership organization and the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards. Washington DC — February 28, 2017 –DGC International’s inventory management, yard and warehousing, and training site at the Central Supply Depot in Kabul, Afghanistan was recently extended to continue current objectives and meet new objectives identified during the base year period. The extension will allow DGC International to continue on-the-job and inventory management training (OJT), fix the NSN nomenclature, and continue to assist the Afghan National Army with identifying, categorizing and managing inventory.
“Our team continues to work side by side with the Afghan National Army to ensure supplies and material are accounted for and managed,” notes Ayman Bekdash. “We continue to appreciate the level of effort and support we have received from both the Afghan National Army and US Army EF 5.1.”

DGC International is pleased to expand our transport services to the DLA-E in Jordan. DGC International has a strong logistics network in country, and supports several projects throughout the country.

Washington DC — October 9, 2016 – DGC International donated clothing, shoes, and school supplies to children at Shamsa Orphanage (“Sunrise Orphanage”) for the new school year to over 120 children.
DGC International’s entire Kabul, Afghanistan office contributed to the effort, handing out the items to the children. DGC International has contributed to and supported the orphanage for several years.
“Every child deserves the right tools for a great education,” noted Mustafa Zamani, President. “We hope that our support allows the children to focus on learning and growing.”
While DGC International manages its own charity programs, the independent Zamani Foundation is committed to national programs to improve children’s lives, particularly in war-torn areas. The Foundation is currently working on a program to build children’s libraries throughout Afghanistan. The first library is slated to be built in the Kunar province of Afghanistan.

The Defense Industry Initiative (DII), is a nonpartisan and non-profit organization of seventy-seven signatory companies comprising the top U.S. defense and security companies. Collectively, DII signatory companies receive over $540 billion per year in federal funds.
Every year, DII helps train hundreds of ethics officers on the latest issues in ethics and compliance. These ethics officers in turn help train hundreds of thousands of other defense-industry employees. An industry leader, DII holds regular meetings and conferences to share best ethical practices, and provides instructional resources to members and non-members alike.
