Charles W. Fletcher Jr is a retired Major General. His experience is vast and covers expertise in Risk Mitigation, Project Management, Owner Representation, Construction Management, Development Management, Workplace Strategy Development, Project Accounting, Pre-Construction Due Diligence, Contract Negotiation and Review, Lease Review, Third Party Project Oversight, Information Technology Coordination and Relocation Management.
He also volunteered as the Interim COO for the Wounded Warrior Project. In six months, he led their recovery from a public relations crisis to a return to public confidence. He has more than 8 years of experience in senior management positions in the private sector and over 36 years in a variety of aviation, logistics and operational military assignments. In addition to DGC International, he serves on the Advisory Board of three Veterans Service Organizations.
Mr. Fletcher career is built on technical innovation in logistics operations and a diverse portfolio of mission command training, spectrum engineering, program management, technology integration, and modeling & simulation. Mr. Fletcher has expanded business development, and in his career, has brought in more than a billion dollars of new work. As the Logistics Senior Mentor he advised NATO logistics commands during major training exercises, supported NATO & UN comprehensive operational planning courses, and assisted in the development of next generation NATO logistics C2 systems.
His military career included eight command tours with his final assignment as the Director of Operations & Plans, US Transportation Command. He is an Army rotary-wing aviator with over 2,000 flying hours, logistician with expertise in managing complex supply chains and a program manager with extensive experience in Research & Development. His assignments included planning and then commanding U.S. Army logistics forces during the 2003 Iraq invasion. His previous Middle East assignments include Battalion Command in Desert Storm and test pilot instructor in Iran during the 1978 and 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Mr. Fletcher holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the United States Military Academy, M.S. Systems Management University of Southern California, and M.A. National Military Strategy National Defense University.
He is married to Dale Anne Fletcher, a retired Army Nurse. They have three children; Charles in Harvard’s Master’s Program in Law & Public Policy, Michael an Army LT in Italy and Marie at Ole Miss.
