Chief Executive Officer
Dr. John Alexander is a retired military officer whose 34 years of business, leadership, and management experience include senior executive positions in multiple private international companies and over a decade of leadership in the nation’s highest priority military unit, the US Army Special Forces- Delta.
John’s military career was characterized by rapid advancement and repeated placement in the most elite and demanding assignments in the DoD. He has a unique understanding of the DoD after years of working directly with some of the nations’ most senior decision-makers in times of conflict.
John has been awarded some of the military’s highest decorations for service and for valor in combat. John’s extensive private and public leadership experience is complemented by his training as a Harvard National Security Fellow and completion of a Doctorate in Business Administration specializing in entrepreneurial leadership.
President and Chief Operating Officer
With over 20 years in the defense contracting industry traversing sales, operations, corporate governance and compliance, and executive leadership, Ms. Esposito brings to DGCI a breadth of knowledge and experienced leadership. Her experience in navigating the complex governance and compliance parameters that regulate the industry combined with her knowledge of field operations provides DGCI a solutions-oriented ethical business leader.
Ms. Esposito provides leadership and oversight of DGCI’s operations, human resources, procurement, contracts, legal, finance, corporate governance, and ethics commitments.
Prior to DGCI, Ms. Esposito was the Chief Operations Officer for Blackwater Worldwide / Xe Services and the Chief Administrative Officer for Sallyport Global Holdings. Ms. Esposito has a B.A. in Communications from Virginia Tech and embodies its motto of Ut Prosim (That I May Serve). She is also an active member of the Society of Corporate Compliance.
Chief Business Development Officer
Mr. Chaney provides a broad experience and corporate interface at multiple levels, both within the U.S. Government and the private business sector. He lends his background to all levels of the DGCI leadership vertically and horizontally. With extensive experience and knowledge, he provides a marketing platform to continually reach new horizons and opportunities.
Mr. Chaney has also supported several government agencies in the conduct of vulnerability analysis based on the probability of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) used against US Government complexes in the Washington D.C. area and other selected sites that were considered critical infrastructure of the United States. He is a retired member of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, having served in the 5th Special Forces Group, 7th Special Forces Group, 1st BN 75th Rangers, and Special Mission Unit. Mr. Chaney holds a current Top Secret security clearance.
