DGC International is Working Towards our ISO 9001:2008 Certification

McLean, VA — January 14, 2012 — We are pleased to announce that DGC International has recently successfully completed Stage One of its International Standards Organization (ISO 9001:2008) certification.

DGC International has always striven to deliver the highest quality management and services to our clients. As an increasing number of clients and organizations require ISO certification, we acknowledge that the certification is only the first step in a longer process of continual improvement.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was established in 1947 and is (currently) an association of 163 members, which each represent their own country. The ISO 9000 standards give organizations an opportunity to increase value to their activities and to improve their performance continually, by focusing on their major processes. The standards place great emphasis on making quality management systems closer to the processes of organizations and on continual improvement. As a result, they direct users to the achievement of business results, including the satisfaction of customers.

DGC International is proud to continue our ISO process. We have established a Quality Management System (QMS) that minimizes and mitigates project risk, promotes consistency and product conformity and ensures that project outcomes satisfy customer requirements. Under the system, DGC International maintains a standard of continuous product improvement by systematically monitoring customer satisfaction data and internal metrics in order to develop responsive and timely improvement plans to address any identified deficiencies.
