McLean, VA – October 26, 2017 – DGC International attended the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) Annual Summit in Washington, DC from October 17th – 19th. ISOA is a global partnership of private sector and nongovernmental organizations providing critical services in fragile environments worldwide, with a particular focus on promoting ethical standards, building key relationships across industry leaders, advocating for effective utilization of companies in fragile areas, and providing business opportunities via the ISOA network.
The conference mainly focused on challenges for the private sector with regard to contingency contracting. Mitigating risks, promoting ethical conduct were key features of the breakout sessions. Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the House and Presidential Candidate and US Representative Peter King were featured speakers at the event.
