McLean, VA — August 11, 2011 – DGC International was added to the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for contractors. The UNGM is the procurement portal of the UN System. It brings together UN procurement staff and the supplier community. The United Nations represents a global market of over USD 10 billion annually for all types of goods and services.
DGCI’s main task is to assist the UN providing procurement services for various UN agencies. DGCI is currently on the shortlist of the FAO, IFAD, UNOPS, and is awaiting decisions for the AFDB, UNDP, UNIDO and UNPD.
The various UN agencies could award contracts under their agencies. DGCI will provide logistics, information technology, democracy and governance, construction, and linguist services to support the UN worldwide.
